About the Role
As a System Developer you will be responsible for the development of Linux-based IoT systems and backend services. The role has a strong hands-on focus, where you will contribute throughout the full product lifecycle and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, high-quality solutions that make a real impact for our industrial customers.

This role can be based in either Björbo or Borlänge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and maintain Linux-based IoT systems, with strong focus on Yocto, networking, and embedded device services

• Design, implement, and maintain OTA update solutions

• Develop and maintain .NET Web APIs and .NET console applications and backend services

• Develop and configure software for IoT gateways and edge devices

• Ensure cybersecurity across devices, communication, and backend services

• Work with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for build and deployment

• Work closely with internal stakeholders for continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a skilled and motivated System Developer who thrives in a collaborative environment but is also comfortable working independently. You take ownership of your work, tackle tasks hands-on across both Linux systems and backend development, and focus on delivering value quickly. You are proactive, self-driven, curious, and embrace variety in your tasks.

Key qualifications include:

• Degree in Computer Science, or a related field

• Strong Linux competence, including networking and system configuration for IoT

• Proven experience with Linux Yocto in embedded or industrial environments

• Experience with IoT systems, gateways, and device software development

• Hands-on experience with OTA updates and IoT device software, including gateway configuration

• Backend development experience in C#, .NET, and .NET Web APIs

• Familiarity with Azure, Azure DevOps, and SQL Server

• Experience with industrial web development

• Experience with authentication and OIDC in .NET is meritorious

• Experience working in Agile development teams

• Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and verbal
